I'm Maria Papadopoulou, a painter and art educator based in Rhodes, Greece.
I have been exhibiting my work since 2000 and teaching visual arts to children, teenagers and adults for more than twenty years.
My artistic practice spans representation and abstraction, and I primarily work in acrylics and mixed media. I enjoy both paying close attention to the world around me and discovering unexpected connections, qualities and compositions as I paint.
